Money forms the dredges of the earth. It is very controversial and many unpleasant things are done with it. I always thought that money was horrible and I was mad at it. In my atelier I painted a painting completely black, threw some coins against it and wrote in paint: “Money makes the world go crazy!” The paint reached the walls! It wasn’t until I was finished with the canvas that I realized: it’s not about the money or the shortage of money; it’s about the people in whose hands it is!
Money is a means
A while ago, I saw a great commercial (whose was it again?) about what money can do. Money corrupts; money offers possibilities. In it, money was shown to be a means of reaching your goals. That it can make an enormous difference. For 50 Euros, you can help a young woman in Sri Lanka to get nurse’s training, just to mention one example. It became clear to me that money can make your life easier and that with money you can improve other people’s lives.
Money doesn’t make someone happy; a shortage of money makes someone unhappy
What personally touches me is the unequal division of money. That so many people have to manage with so little and that there are a few who have so incredibly much money without committing themselves to improving the world.
Thankfully there are a growing number of “conscious millionaires and billionaires” who think differently about this and use their abundance to help others. An increasing number of people are for the introduction of a guaranteed basic income for everyone. I sincerely applaud this idea because I strongly believe that we can live much more from within our hearts when we don’t necessarily have to work for the money. And the idea that people will become lazy? I don’t believe that. People want to do something for others so badly, to contribute to something, that’s just part of our blueprint!
Have a look at the website of BIEN: Basic Income Earth Network to learn more about this wonderful idea that has already started to become reality!
Money provides opportunities
I often meet business owners who have fantastic ideas about natural power supplies or organic food or eco-apparel, but who can’t seem to get their ideas put into motion because of a lack of funds to implement their plans. That is distressing to me because the type of people who have these fantastic ideas should actually be accommodated so they can carry out their plans for the betterment of the world! We would, for example, all have had free energy by now!
Together we can move mountains
Have your heard about “crowd funding”. This is a means of bringing small amounts of money together to form large amounts so that great projects can get started. This is a great development to me! When we pool our energy and resources, people who can improve lives have the freedom to do so. I really like this and always contribute to crowd funding projects! It gives these innovators wings! As far as that goes, we humans can do a lot more than we think we can: the singer Birdy sang about it already in her song: People, help the people.
Do you have enough?
And how about you? Do you have enough money to live a good life? If that isn’t the case, what is the cause of this? How do you think about money? How were you raised regarding money? Was there always a shortage of money in your family and do you still carry the message within yourself: ‘‘There is not enough!” “Be frugal.” “Don’t put so much on your sandwich; it all costs money.” Were you given your brother or sister’s hand-me-downs? Have you had bad experiences with money? Was there a lot of arguing about money in your home? Look at your own past and be aware that you have the right to have enough money to live a good life!
It is my wish for you; it’s my wish for everyone!
Money is fun,
money is good.
Not everybody has it,
but everybody should!
If you are the type of person that has suffered from a shortage of money, or maybe still does, give yourself a chance to improve your relationship with money. I came up with an exercise for this.
How do you improve your relationship with money with the MIR-Method?
- Put a bill in your hand.
- Stroke your hand that has the money in it.
- Do all of the steps of the MIR-Method.
You only need to do this once to make it clear to your subconscious that money is okay and that’s it good that it’s with you. My wish for you is that you will have an abundance of money and that if you are a wealthy person, you will use your money to support people who want to make a difference in this world!
Would you like to help me?
I would like to see the names of people who need money for their project. I’m talking about projects that work on the improvement of the environment, nutrition, textiles, education, and energy supplies, in short, everything we need to make this a better world. Feel free to mention their website here! And if you see one among them that touches you, look to see if you could already reach out to them!
Give these people a podium and write their name and website below! Thank you!
(Personal questions should always be asked of a MIR-Method coach!)
My wish for you is a good relationship with money and that you may do well!
