People waste their time. I can’t describe it any other way. When I see people wasting their time while there is so much more to them. It’s the opposite of what I earlier wrote about relaxing, although relaxing is also necessary. But I’m concerned here about the illusion that you will live forever. That you continue to muddle on in a situation that you don’t really want to be in any longer. That you continue to act as if all those precious days are not so precious after all. That you continue to be around people who use up your time without bringing you any real joy.
Successful people are very aware of how precious their time is. They know that life is finite and that no one knows when his or her last day will come. That sounds a little fatalistic but it causes these people to be very consciously about what they choose to do with their time.
I asked time,
The strength of illness
People, who are suddenly confronted with a possibly terminal disease, swiftly become enormously aware of the value of time. How many months will I still be here? What will I do during this time? Who would I like to speak with again? What would I like to do one more time? Is there something I can mean to other people before I go?
Your legacy can have a great impact on the world. Think about those who have written books and inspired people with them. The book is the legacy they left. Think about the people who have helped to set up a center to bring people together. Thanks to these people, others can be taken care of. That center is their legacy. Imagine having helped to make alternative energy sources available. Many homes can save on their energy costs and, moreover, fewer fossil fuels will be necessary. It’s wonderful that you contributed to this! That’s your legacy. Maybe you raised your daughter (son) as well as you could and have made sure that she can think for herself, dares to make her own decisions and is filled with self-confidence. We might have a new loving leader for the future! That is your legacy. Thank you for this!
Step 9 of the MIR-Method
If you do the MIR-Method, step 9 will clarify your mission. This means that, partially thanks to the other steps, you more clearly feel what you’d like to do. What would you like to create, build or organize? Because you are changing within, you will “coincidently” meet new people who advise you or lend you a helping hand and you find yourself in situations that put you on the right track to fulfill your mission. Look what happens and be able to feel ever better what is important to pass on to others after you.
What will your legacy be?
Money is valuable, but only in the hands of someone who knows how to do wonderful things with it! Who can really build something, inspire people and stimulate others to accomplish something; that is totally valuable!
What are you working on? What do you spend your precious time on? I’d love to know more about it! Please write about it below. Then we can thank you for having the courage to do this and for your time! And who knows, by sharing this you might inspire others to work on their “legacy”! Be sure to include your website or where information about it can be found!
Thank you for sharing and for working on such a beautiful legacy!
