53. Thyroid Disorder, how can the MIR-Method help? — 10 Comments

  1. Good advice on thyroid

My wife, back in the 1970s, was scheduled to have her thyroid removed and would have spent the rest of her life taking thyroxine hormone

I got her to postpone the operation and

    – eat seaweed for iodine
    – drink no alcohol
    – exclude cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage from her diet

Within 2 weeks the goitre had disappeared and she cancelled the operation

  2. Hi my name is Fiona 64 years old I love your concept . it is brilliant , I have been going to kinesiology for about 15 years and have worked on a lot of my issues it is amazing and never ceases to amaze me , I started out with 5 and 7 of the MIR-Method though stopped because I became very unwell , I feel this is because my body was in a really difficult place , I have had 3 very close family deaths in the last year and the grieving process was quite hard on me , also because I have a very sensitive body and it reacts to everything either good or bad , my immune system seems to be an issue causing all sorts of problems , arthritis , IBS , hashimotes ( thyroid ) and now skin seems to be sensitive to everything , I do understand why this has happened and would so love to be better and stronger and I do feel with your method I could achieve this , the need to be healthy is very strong so much so that I have changed my food and drink completely over the years , I now only drink water and some fruit smoothies ,, I am dairy ,gluten ,egg , pork , red meat , chocolate and alcohol. Free , my issue is I tent to be very anxious , seems the healthier my lifestyle the more sensitive I become . do you think it would be ok for me to start again with 5 and 7 ,,, thank you for this wonderful concept you are doing an amazing thing and I totally appriciate all you have done ,,, blessings Fiona X X

    • Dear Fiona,
Thank you for your very kind words and acknowledgement.
No, you don’t have to restart with steps 5 and 7. Please start with all 9 steps. You will do fine. And could you maybe let go of the fruit smoothies and instead eat 1 apple at a time? Your body will probably be too sensitive for all the fructose, fruit sugars. Eating 1 apple fulfills just as good, but also has the cellulose and fibres that your body needs to healthily digest the fructose.
      Good luck!

  3. Hi Mrs. Mettes,
I have Hashimotes and low thyroid. I recently started to do the MIR Method with my husband. He has an autoimmune issue with peripheral neuropathy and very painful pain in his feet. I also am cleared for a year and half with ovarian cancer coming from endometriosis. I broke out with hives recently and feel my natural thyroid may not working. So far we are on the #5 and # 7 of MIR Method. We both have traumatic pasts and want to be free from many triggers we have. I am very excited to have found your method. I hope to be sending a good report when it happens.
    Respectfully,

    • Dear June,
Hope the MIR-Method will be a great companion for your health! Kind regards, also to your husband. May you both regain your health!

  4. Thank You ,Mirelle! I felt like this newsletter article is personally for me.Why? Becouse I started with MIR Method last year in October. This year in january I was travelling to Estonia,my homeland.I was prepared to incrise my L-Thyroksin mg (Thyroid hormone).from 75 back to 100.It happend to my one year ago ,when I was in cold and snow in Austria. In cold climate Igot tired and poweless.
This year I broke my arm and had to stay in the cold climate for 1,5 month. But I DID NOT FEEL the NEEDS TO START with 100 mg of L-Thyroksin!!!
Something already have changed! OK, I started in october, also a rawfood lifestile.I think-combination of these two things have been a success! Thanks a lot for the newsletter. It reminds me-I have to pick up MIR Method again.I did not do it with broken arm in kips. Now I will continue what so ever! And Im greatful! Warme Grutjes Eve

    • Dear Eve,
I am very glad you feel better and don’t have to take so many L-Thryroxin. I hope you continue to feel better and that the MIR-Method can help you with that!
      Good luck!

  5. All blood tests for my thyroid have been normal apparently and have had many, was diagnosed with ME/CFS instead but never been convinced. I have an enlarged thyroid on my neck, had severe weight loss 10yrs ago and never been able to put on again. Always tired, muscle weakness, foggy head, baggy eye lids, no energy etc. I would say definitely Auto-immune disorder but have been tested for all the others which are all normal, negative.

  6. Yes I have had a thyroidectomy and take medication.
So I am now doing the MIR-Method for 3 weeks and
and do I have to 5 &7 and 9 separately for it to work?

    • Dear Renee,
Thank you for giving the MIR-Method a try! If you feel quite good, you can start by doing all 9 steps. If you want to start carefully, because you feel tired or suffer anxieties, you first start with step 5 and 7 for two weeks. Only those two, 5 and 7, not including number 9!
Please subscribe to the free 6 weeks guidance mails. They will explain all details about how the MIR-Method can work out.
Good luck and let me hear how you are doing!
