For me, Lynne McTaggart is a very inspiring woman. The way in which she writes and the way she speaks. It always seems as if she throws in unintended humor every few sentences and I often can’t listen to her without smiling. In addition, she is well read. She writes articles in which she quotes other writers or scientists and by doing this enriches my life. Lynne, thank you for your wonderful work!
Article about gratitude
I came across an article about being thankful. About how healthy it is for us. It appears there are scientists who have shown how our bodies react to feelings of thankfulness. The more we realize what we can be thankful for, the stronger and healthier our bodies become. Even your blood pressure will go down! Afterwards, I read a number of expressions of gratitude from people who thanked someone who supports him or her when things are rough. After the fifth message, I felt the tears welling up in me and noticed that it touched me. Hey, this is fascinating; reading messages about other people who put the spotlight on someone else moves me because of the love these messages express. I know for sure that this is also good for my health!
The MIR-Method and gratitude
Step 7: ‘Fulfill basic needs’ plays a role in this. One of our basic needs is “Gratitude”. By stroking this step you replenish the gratitude in yourself. This is especially necessary if you grew up in an environment of scarcity or in a family with material abundance but little attention or warm love. As you replenish that essential love within yourself, you free your ability to feel gratitude.
In step 8: ‘Optimize chakras and aura’ is the key to gratitude. When your Heart chakra optimizes itself, feelings such as “giving and receiving love” become possible and also your ability to be thankful becomes stronger. As you allow your Heart chakra to grow, your ability to be thankful increases. You will begin to see the fruits of life and this strengthens your ability to count your blessings.
Even though I only mention 2 of the 9 steps, always do all 9!
Who are you going to put in the spotlight?
Why don’t we also do this? Then we can create a collection of expressions of gratitude and we can fill our hearts with thankfulness and emotion because of all the love that invisibly and unnoticed moves among people.
Would you like to put the spotlight on someone? Someone you are grateful to. Someone who has done something for you or meant something and to whom you would like to clearly express what an impact he/she has had on you? Please write what he/she did for you and what it meant to you!
Please write below about that special person for you. Thank you!
By using the “End” key on your keyboard you can go straight to the form. Personal questions should always be asked of a MIR-Method coach!
May we let our dearest loved ones know how grateful we are!
