Animals, results regarding animal issues — 51 Comments

  1. Does it help to say the issue three times before doing the method on my dog? Example: Someone said food addiction above three times and I read about another.

If I say food and environmental sensitivities or ear discharge or reactivity before the steps, will it help? THANKS!

    • Dear Carolyn,
Just give it a try. It depends on what is going on with your dog. But by saying it, you order the subconscience to give priority to that issue. But please just do 1 issue at a time. Repeat it for 1 week, then you can do another one.
      Hope it works fast!
      Greetings, Mireille

  2. Hello. I just signed up and started the two as sometimes I can be sensitive. How do pets do this method? Do we just rub their paws and say it for them?

    • Before you treat your animal, you must first have done the MIR-Method yourself for 4 weeks. To treat your animal, you stroke the animal on the back, while saying the 9 steps. If your animals walks away, it is a sign it doesn’t want you to treat it, or that it is enough or that the energy doesn’t feel good for the animal. Respect that and try to treat your animal again at another day. Most animals love being treated with the MIR-Method and will start to relax intensely. All 9 steps are used with animals. Step 3, ‘Father’ and ‘Mother’ are referring to its natural parents, but also to the humans that take care of the animal. Animals may alsof have a mission! (step 9, Clarify Mission).

  3. Dear Mireille,
I started with the 2 lines initially as I am very sensitive. I do myself & my aging cat & a rehome dog who was very anxious when I got her. They both now look forward to it every morning ( 2 months) & both have improved in calmness & health. I too, have also felt my sweet tooth for chocolate has decreased significantly since just doing the 2 steps.
I will start the 9 steps now & let you know how we go Blessings to you Thankyou

  4. Hello, I just wanted to tell you that I’ve been treating my 3 cats for 2 weeks now. The result is that my tomcat suddenly had to throw up and did this the following day.
He also needs a lot more attention. Seven captured a bird all of a sudden, even though she is an indoor cat and has never done this before. I’m treating her because she throws up a lot and has problems with her digestive system. And I’m treating my Lolita so she doesn’t allow herself to be bullied by Seven anymore and becomes stronger through this. When I treat her, she lies down for it and looks at me as though she was in love with me; it’s really cute!! I can’t wait to see what will happen but I hope that she stops killing birds because that is not nice. They are, after all, cats with pedigrees. I will let you know if there are any changes.
    Greetings, Sigrid

  5. Hello Mireille,
Our dog Luca had the tendency as a puppy to chew on everything. Sometimes pieces of his rubber toys also just disappeared. When he started having problems with his bowel movements, I starting doing the MIR-Method with him. After just 1 day he started to throw up, and what came out? You guessed it, pieces of rubber that he’d eaten months ago! Also had some diarrhea and was then completely healthy. I now treat him regularly; he even asks for it. He lays his paw on my leg and begins to stroke it. This way, we keep our dog happy and healthy, thanks to the MIR-Method!

  6. Mireille,
after reading that the MIR-Method helps animals, I started doing it with my dog. My dog “Maksi” was very rambunctious and restless. On New Year’s Eve, he ran back and forth, barking as if he wanted to chase the sound. Since then he slept in my bedroom, but he would often jump up against me during the night because he wanted to go outside. Not to be let out, but to stand at the fence and bark at the other neighborhood dogs. I didn’t want that, of course, because of the terrible noise they make, disturbing both my neighbors and me. When I read that the MIR-Method was also successful with animals, I tried it, and Mireille, it is striking. I did the MIR-Method 2 days in a row with Maksi and after that, 2 days with his picture. Since then, Maksi lays quietly with me in my room. He changes his position once in a while, but is quiet the whole night and doesn’t try to go outside anymore. When I get up in the morning, he waits quietly until I open the door and then goes outside with me. Mireille, this is great and I am really very grateful to you.
I also had another nice experience. I had the flu a few weeks ago and sometimes had to sneeze or had tremendous coughing fits. Then Maksi would jump up and look at me, as if he was worried about me. I found that very sweet. Greetings and once more, thank you very much.
I would recommend the MIR-Method to the whole world.
    Greetings,
    Lucila

    • Hi Lucila,
thank you very much for sharing your wonderful results with Maksi! So sweet to read that he’s there for you!
I’m very happy for you that the MIR-Method has brought you such happiness! I wish you many more years with Maksi!
      Hearty greetings,
      Mireille Mettes

  7. I’ve been doing the MIR-Method for almost 2 weeks. I sleep better and deeper. My cat (we do it together) eats better than ever.

  8. Hello Mireille and readers,
during a training day in January 2014, you told us that we are even capable of keeping unwanted animals out of our gardens! When I came home that evening, I told my husband that we had moles in the garden. That was also the case in 2013, moles and voles, and according to an expert, five families of them! They were poisoned with something they swallowed. I found a few dead ones while they were fleeing our garden, away from that horrible substance. I thought this was horrible; it was terrible to find these beautiful animals like that. I promised myself that this would never happen again, although I had no idea how I would then keep them out of our garden. I do love our garden and everything that grows in it, and also the vegetables and herbs I cultivate in it. The day after the training day, I went into the garden and did the MIR with all my powers of persuasion. I asked the moles to go to the fields in the neighborhood where they couldn’t hurt anything and would have everything they needed to live the good life. That we hate having to kill them when they chew on our plants and their roots. Anyway, I kept repeating this for a week, two times a day. And guess what? Not a mole to be seen anywhere, scout’s honor! There was a small hole in one of the trampled-shut molehills; as if one of the moles had checked for just a minute to see which direction he needed to follow to get to the fields.
Considering that we live amongst farms, where there are a lot of flies in the summer, I’m curious to see if the flies also allow themselves to be sent away……………
Thank you, Mireille, for this wonderful, animal-friendly solution!

  9. I’ve been doing the MIR-Method for about 4 months now and have had many insights; especially that the child in me has had a hard time but am glad that I understand my parents better and love them. I’ve always enjoyed dancing and felt free to go for it. Am going to more often. My cat, Floor, is visibly improving and the insulin dosage is dropping; wonderful… makes me very happy. Love and insight with my children and growing between us. I am a very wealthy person.

  10. Wow Mireille, what wonderful posts each week. Have been doing the MIR-Method for 9 weeks now and the transformation astounds me. For 4 years now, I’ve known that I am autistic, which was a relief; that explains why I was bullied (my whole childhood), that’s why I was different, that’s why I didn’t understand things, that’s why……….etc., etc. Experienced many traumas, also in my life in a paranoid/schizophrenic family and suicide attempt at 12 years old. A horrible life, but have been determined to find healing for myself. I’ve finally found that! I was already happy with my 5 nearly adult children but what joy I am now experiencing through the MIR-Method! My traumas seem to be melting away; I love the world and myself. Suddenly, I see the beauty in the whole world and in everyone. I sing my own “crazy” songs now every day, am an inspiration for others in spite of my being a “recluse”. That’s really cool! Because of my enthusiasm, I started 4 weeks ago with my dog, Dottie, and the MIR-Method long-distance with permission from an English friend in Spain who has health issues. And with loving himself. Both Dottie seems to be happier and Dave is more positive and suffers less pain. Amazing! Since then, have recommended the MIR-Method in Spain and to Swiss and English friends. These friends are from a period of coping during the past 50 years. They are my most important teachers, because I never would have gone through all that if I had known sooner that I have autism. NOW I don’t have to just cope and can accept and love the “wonderful” person that I am — we are all that wonderful person — and always was since I came to earth. Even my autism seems to be doing better. Understand more, see more than just my own world, am more sociable and less focused on trivialities such as “time is time”, “an agreement is an agreement”, wanting to know everything beforehand, etc., etc., etc.
Thank you, Mireille, and helpers. A very grateful Jeanine and 5 grateful kids, who see their mother flourishing more and more and love me unconditionally. What a wealthy person I am!!

  11. Dear Mireille,
after receiving your e-mail for the MIR-Method with pets, I actually started to apply it immediately to one of my cats. It really works! This cat was always a bit skittish, even with just a sound and now she sat in the window watching and slept soundly on her stool on New Year’s Eve. I’m sorry that I didn’t treat the other cat because he sat crouching in our arms or under the table.
Once again, our thanks for this interesting and useful tip.
Greetings and we look forward to seeing more of these tips!

  12. Hallo Mireille, I’ve recently acquired a one-year old dog; when I got him he was afraid of literally everything and since I thought that fireworks would be a terrible experience for him, started doing the MIR-Method with him 3 weeks ago. I’ve never seen a dog change so much, new things startle him but his fear is lessening with each day and he didn’t have any problems at all with the fireworks. He enjoys it very much when I treat him; when I treat myself he comes asking for it. So we are really happy about this and I will certainly continue this for a while. Greetings, Thea

  13. I used the MIR-Method on our cat. She was less stressed during this year’s New Year’s Eve. She used to hide and didn’t want any contact with us, but now she let us pet her during the worst of the firecrackers. On behalf of Milan: thanks Mireille!!

  14. I did the MIR-Method with my dog for 4 weeks and the results were wonderful. He was much calmer inside the house. 10 times better than last year. He didn’t want to go outside any more that evening but that didn’t matter that much. The great thing is that he felt safe inside. I am so thankful to you for this. Greeting, Ad

  15. Mireille, I wish you a warm and loving New Year.
My resolution is to not buy or eat any foods containing sugar any more.
At your advice (in Drachten), I’ve been treating my 12-year-old dachshund (and also myself) with the MIR-Method for the past 6 weeks, during which I said, “fear” 3 times before starting. He is terrified of fireworks and also for storms.
He still didn’t want to go outside the past few days when there were fireworks, but yesterday at 12 o’clock (inside) he was calm, didn’t tremble (otherwise did very badly) and didn’t run away (underneath something). So, there is absolutely improvement, although the fear for these noises will never completely disappear, I think.
In any case, thank you very much for all your good advice!
With sincere greetings, Lien + dachshund Mo

  16. Have been treating our dog, Spot (Drentse spaniel) for the past 4 ½ weeks with the MIR-Method. All 9 steps, 2 times a day. Unfortunately, he’s still as afraid of fireworks. He’s barely been out of the house for the past 2 days. Treated myself as well during those 4 ½ weeks. He has had a pretty bad food allergy for the past 15 months, is allergic to 19 types of grass. Had red, infected paws…that is, fortunately, much improved after the 4 weeks but not completely gone. I’m therefore going to continue with the MIR-Method. Greetings, Madó

  17. Yes!
Our cat, Kate, was much calmer this year after two weeks of the MIR-Method. For the first time, she didn’t spend New Year’s Eve in the cabinet under the stairs. She didn’t even need a pill to relax. During the day she even took a walk and ate her meals. Other years, this was not the case; then she just lay all day panting and trembling. Yesterday, Kate preferred lying quietly in her basket under a blanket and she didn’t want to go outside during the evening. But we are so happy with this progress! This morning (January 1, 2014), a boy threw caps at her…but Kate just gave him an ugly look! Before this, she would have been in panic for hours after such an incident.
    Thank you very much, Mireille!

  18. WoofYelpYap Happy New Year! During his first experience with fireworks, my adopted Shih Tzu turned into a trembling heap of misery. This year, after being treated with the MIR-Method, the change in his behavior was remarkable. Robust barking and “grumbling”! Good boy, Flor, get ‘em! He loves the treatments; sometimes his eyes roll away from pleasure, and it’s really funny to see this.
Animals are the most honest gauges, so yes: the MIR-Method works.
Wishing you a wonderful year, Mireille!

  19. Hi, I did the MIR-Method with my cat, Hummel. Hummel suffered a few weeks ago from an irritated eye, which inclined towards an eye infection. I didn’t feel like going to the vet and paying the expenses. So I started to do the MIR-Method, I think we’re about 3 weeks further; first the problems got worse (seems normal to me) and now it’s gone, the eye is normal again. A few weeks more of the MIR and Hummel should be able to take care of himself again. I did all 9 steps for 4 weeks.
I’ve used the MIR-Method before to treat my (now passed away) guinea pig, which had intestinal problems and she reacted well to the MIR-Method as well.
I checked out how the MIR-Method works via the instruction video on this website.
    Greetings,
    Michella

  20. What wonderful results I’ve achieved with my horse! In the spring, he suddenly had big lumps in his neck, tremendous itching and a very thick mane, which often means that the horse is insulin resistant and has to stop eating grass immediately and therefore be separated from the other horses. It was for him as well as for me a small drama because he is happiest when with the other horses and I like to see him be happy. In September, we heard about the MIR-Method and I followed module 1 very enthusiastically. Went to work with Still (my horse). Begin November, his blood levels were measured and…..totally balanced; no more insulin resistance.
I’m speechless about this and very thankful!
But I’d like more (uh huh). So many horses would be helped by this; for ex: horses with eczema, sensitivity to colic, insulin resistance, laminitis, etc. So I will continue, with other horses as well.
If you would like to join me, send me an e-mail at: info@paardenkind.nl. Together we can accomplish so much more!

  21. Hi Mireille,
In the spring, my horse suddenly had lumps in his neck, trouble walking, a lot of itching and bald spots on his head and ears because of all of the itching. These are the symptoms for insulin resistance (kind of diabetes). A horse has to stop eating grass as soon as possible because the sugars in it make him sick. Really difficult to come to the conclusion that your horse can’t be put to pasture anymore. 3 months ago I became aware of the MIR-Method and immediately had a strong feeling that this could work. You see, I have enormous faith in the body’s self-healing ability but hadn’t found the right “tools” for it yet. Followed module 1 from Mireille and only became more enthusiastic. I did the MIR-Method for 6 weeks with my horse; each time a few minutes of tender contact with my horse, Still. And now the results of the blood testing….I have no words for it…I would like to help a lot of horses with the MIR-Method (horses have touched my heart). I walk through the woods every day and treat a few horses from a distance but I would like to expand this with people who run into a wall with their horse/animal and the vet. I really hope that many people discover the MIR-Method and apply it and experience that “miracles” exist! I am extremely thankful! Thank you, Mireille, for sharing your wonderful insights with me (and many others) and for your unshakeable faith!

  22. Hello! First of all I want to thank you for sharing such a beautiful and special healing method! And what a great person you are!
I just discovered that the “ball” in my old, faithful Labrador’s throat is gone (a lump the size of a small mandarin) and that other lumps have also disappeared or become much smaller!!! WOW!! I’ve been doing the MIR-Method with her for a little over a week. And then to have such results already!!
In addition, the old wound from an operation on her knee ligament is changing. (She got an implant last year, which has been irritating her for months now. Next week it will be removed via a new operation.) It looks different and there is fluid coming out of it. I wonder what’s going to happen!
I am really very happy about discovering this method! It’s really helped my daughter and me a lot! Once again, thank you very much!
    Hearty greetings,Carina

    • Dear Carina,
What great results with your dog! Yes, please keep me informed about the old wound. I really hope that it heals nicely.
Wishing you much happiness! Greetings to your daughter as well; glad that it’s giving you so much that is good!
      Heartfelt greetings,
      Mireille Mettes

  23. Have been doing the MIR-Method now for 18 days with our dog. Used prednisone for almost a year because of granulomata related to an enlarged liver. Doesn’t take medication any longer. The granulomata shows up now and then but it calms down more quickly since I’ve been doing the MIR-Method. Doesn’t like to walk with me in the neighborhood but enjoys walking in the field where he can be let loose. For a week now he is shedding tremendously and his skin is flaking a lot, which he’s never had since he was with us (we’ve had him for 4 years now). Is this a reaction to the MIR-Method? He is 10 years old and been blind since he was 6 due to a hereditary ailment.

    • Dear Marleen,
Your dog is having a very strong reaction to the MIR-Method; detoxifying from all the medication he took for such a long time is the greatest cause of this.
It is an annoying, but thankfully temporary reaction and will diminish on its own.
Compare it to a woman after having a baby – because of the hormonal changes in their bodies, women often experience hair loss after which the hair grows back, shiny and healthy. Your dog also took prednisone for a long time (= hormone); now the balance is slowly being restored through the MIR-Method.
Wishing you much success and a firm paw for your dog!
Hearty greetings, on behalf of Mireille Mettes

  24. Hi Mireille,
for a long time already (at least 5 years), I’ve used the MIR-Method for my family, the cat and the chickens as well as myself. One of my chickens was at one time very sick and weakened. The vet had given up but with the MIR-Method supporting her, she is her old self once again.
In the meantime, my children know how to treat themselves when they start sneezing, get a runny nose, etc. when allergies bother them. I am so enthusiastic about it that I also talk about the MIR-Method when the subject comes up. Many people have trouble believing that something so childishly simple actually works. I understand that, but meanwhile, I’m living proof of this self-healing method.
My hay fever has been under control for years. When it seems to flare up, all I have to do is the MIR-Method and I’m free of it again. Wonderful! Glad that I ran into you, Mireille!!

  25. Hi everyone,

I have two dogs and three cats. I picked up my aunt’s french poodle two days ago as she will be on vacations overseas for a month. Her dog has a very bad leg problem. She is limping and in a lot of pain regardless of the medications she takes. I have thus started the MIR method on her and I will have to get back with you in a month.

Here is my testimonial for today :-). I was sitting at my desk, using the MIR method on me and to my surprise, one of my cats jumped on my desk and pushed my hand with her head as to say “Come on! pet me too!”. 🙂 The funniest part? None of my cats are affectionate. They usually do not like to be pet…

Needless to say, I finished the MIR method on me and did one for my cat too. 🙂 As I am typing this testimonial, she is sleeping on my lap. Interesting, huh?

  26. Dear Mrs. Mettes,
through my mother’s friend, an elderly lady, I heard about the MIR-Method. She suffers from a severe form of asthma (hereditary) and benefitted greatly from the method.
I’ve been doing TM (Transcendental Meditation) for years, was curious and tried it for a while as well, but it had (understandably) little effect.
    But now about my tomcat!
I got him when he was already 5, along with his half-sister. They were from an old uncle, who suddenly passed away.
Banjer was, and still is a bit, a neurotic animal with skin problems. He always looks a little like a weeping willow, always looking for a new place to sleep, always scratching himself, etc.
I decided to apply the MIR-Method to him.
How it works is a mystery to me.
He always loves the stroking, begins to purr and turn around. Has become much calmer and constantly sits close to me.

    But now the best part.
I play piano and luckily possess a grand piano.
Recently he started approaching me when I am playing, standing on his hind paws and putting his paw on my pants. May he doesn’t like the high notes? Or does he want attention?
And here it comes. This week, he started doing this again, then jumped onto the bench next to me and hit a few notes with his paw.
    Isn’t that strange???
He seems calmer and more balanced even though he still scratches his skin a bit.
nice story, isn’t it?? I am happy for him.
    With friendly greetings,
    Mathilda

  27. Our 8-year-old Westie had a few unexplainable incidents that looked like an atypical form of epilepsy, possibly the result of an allergy. Such a strong allergic reaction that it caused neurological problems….The vet didn’t want to start giving him medication because, thankfully, the attacks only occur once every 8 weeks or so.
We stopped using the dog food she ate, put her on fresh dog food and I started doing the MIR-Method when she was next to me on the sofa….after a short while, she became very relaxed, she started to breath more easily, her eyes were happier and she became as playful and cheerful again as we had known her. MIR-Method or different dog food??? Considering the short time in which things changed…I think the MIR-Method!

  28. Our hunting dog (Beagle) was diagnosed with a liver tumor in October 2012. I’ve been doing the MIR-Method with her for 4 weeks now and his nausea is gone. He is very relaxed during each daily treatment. His appetite has returned, so he must feel better. He can still enjoy his daily walk, which is very important to me. We’ve started 2013 well. With friendly greetings,

  29. Hallo Mireille,
I picked up a Yorkshire terrier puppy 8 weeks ago. This male was taken away from his mother, brother and sisters. In the car, he went into the travel carrier, which was very nerve-wracking for the little guy and it didn’t surprise me that he panicked.
I wrapped him in a towel, laid him on my chest and did steps 5 and 7 of the MIR-Method with him.
He fell asleep and I was able to lay him back inside the travel carrier, giving him a relaxed trip home.
Upon arrival, a puppy explores the house because everything is new; this puppy didn’t. He started playing and romping around as if he had lived here for years. I repeated steps 5 and 7 of the MIR-Method for the night and he didn’t make a sound all night.
He’s lived with us for 3 weeks now and I still do the MIR-Method and it is a very happy cheerful and mischievous puppy.
Wonderful isn’t it, people; I work with dogs a lot and the results are amazing! Call to everyone, MIR-Method more often with animals and owners.
    Greetings, Gerrie

  30. About a week ago, I started doing the MIR-Method with my 12-year old dog who is rather quickly losing steam; things are obviously not going well with her. In telepathic contact with her, she informed me that she wants to go through the whole process, together with me. There is a continual stream of love that everyone can feel. In addition to some other things (healing, water with vibhuti [holy ash] and sanjeevani [healing fragrances]) I do the MIR-Method with her every morning and evening and within two days there was a subtle but noticeable change. It is a wonderful exercise in faith, in not expecting anything, just being in the here and NOW. I am allowed to accompany her and that it so wonderful. I also included my 24-year old cat in the MIR-Method… she holds my hand as it were while I say the 9 steps aloud (she is totally deaf but she really does hear it) and enjoys it. The dog has gone in a few days’ time from an old, slowly fading dog to one whose coat shines and has clear eyes and better metabolism….I am so thankful for this!….Month later…..the calm that became so apparent by my dear dog when I started the MIR-Method gave way to wonderful terminal care; she was completely aware until the last moment and finally told me it was time to help her move on. The cat’s reaction to this was to barely eat for a fortnight – and she was already so thin – and became listless…still she asked to do the MIR-Method every morning and…suddenly she “decided” to go for it again…she is more awake than ever and for an old cat, actually in great health! What surprised me is that the dog “underwent” the MIR-Method while the cat understood what was happening!

  31. As animal translator and healer, I work a lot with the MIR-Method. I think it’s a very good method that people can do by themselves at home with their pets. I’ve already helped treat a lot of animals with certain problems using the MIR-Method and am very thankful for it. Think about dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, etc., etc. I’d like to share what the MIR-Method has helped with here:
    -urinating in the house
    -problems with fur that shed
    -fighting between cats
    -epileptic attacks
    -fear of abandonment
    -wounds/scratches
    -loneliness
    -overweight and underweight
    -fear of entities
    -animals with an autistic character
-a new added pet through which one animal had to get used to the other and thinks the new one has usurped its place
-excessive being in heat and constant screeching in house at night
-tensions, fears, anger etc., which pets have assumed from its owners.
And this list goes on and on!! Yours truly, Janine
    Greetings, Janine, Netherlands

    • Hello Janine,
My ex girl frend is fond of animals and I believe, seeing her with her cat that she could be an excellent whisperer and maybe more. Can you tell me where it is possible to be trained (in english, french or rumanian)?
      Thank you.
      Jean-Claude

  32. How nice to read here about all the experiences with animals!
I have also done the MIR-Method with my cat, just the 9 steps. Cat Bowie was 15 and had mammary gland cancer. She had no chance of recovery or of getting better but I hoped to alleviate her symptoms somewhat. First I did Reiki with her, which she always liked when she was reasonably healthy. But in the last 3 months of her life she didn’t want Reiki anymore. She walked away, as thought it was too much. I immediately thought about trying the MIR-Method. She took to it immediately and purred a lot as we went through the steps. When we at on the sofa and I said, “Bowie, should we do the MIR-Method now?” she would get up and stand, ready for it. As I already said, there was no chance of her recovering from this, but I hoped to bring her less pain and hindrance through the MIR-Method during the last phase of her life. That she so enjoyed it said enough to me. Now I have another, fearful cat who has been traumatized. I also want to do the MIR-Method with her, to give her a feeling of security.

    • Dear Sandra,
Thank you very much for your beautiful story. It’s too bad that you lost your cat. I’m very happy for you that you were at least able to do something for her.
Will you please let us know how things go with the fearful cat? Am curious about it!
      Truly yours, Mireille Mettes

      • I was going to let you know how the traumatized cat, LouLou, is doing since I’ve been doing the MIR-method with her. Her past in short: she was yelled at and beaten by a woman, causing her to hide in a cupboard drawer, only coming out in the middle of the night to eat. She wasn’t seen otherwise. When she came to me, she needed about a year to slowly get used to everything: to me, to the new surroundings, to the other cats. She slowly crawled out of her shell and first lived in a separate room, then under the bed, and then the sofa became her domain. Bit by bit, she let herself be petted but she was easily overwhelmed. If I pet her, she had so much love to give that she got all excited that she sprayed (it had nothing to do with marking her territory and also not with fear, as is usually the case with spraying). It wasn’t until I did the MIR-Method with her that the tendency to spray stopped. She now remains calm when I pet her; she enjoys it and accepts it calmly. Sometimes she walks back and forth during the MIR-Method; other times she remains calm, lying down or standing, but she always purrs really loud and I can feel her calming down under my hands. All in all, she is calmer through the MIR-Method; feels more at home, has more self-confidence (towards other cats as well), she makes space for herself, doesn’t spray anymore and most of all: she’s become very cuddly from it! I will certainly continue this with her.

  33. In January, I discovered the MIR-Method and immediately started using it on my cat and myself. He had already had problems with 1 eye for months; the rims were swollen and pus came out of it, and he had globules on his nose on the side closest to the eye. He scratched, it itched or irritated, and he had scratched that side of his nose open. The vet didn’t know what to do about it either.
I began doing the MIR and every day when I said, “Come, we’re going to do the MIR”, he came and lay down in front of me, let me say the 9 steps twice in a row and then left.
After 4 weeks of the MIR, it was almost completely gone and later completely healed; globules gone, eye normal again and fur restored.
    Wonderful, isn’t it?
At the time, he also had trouble with his bowel movements; he seemed to have pain doing them. That is now also entirely good.
Now, a half year later, he started having trouble with his bowel movements again and I asked him if he wanted to do the MIR again; for the past 4 days he again comes when I call him and lets me do the MIR-Method with him and I’ve already got the impression that his bowel movements have become easier.
It’ll be clear to me again when it’s been enough…………. NLTFB E

  34. How do you do this with animals?
Do I say it outloud for my dog all the while stroking his paws
or somewhere else on the body?
    Thank you.

  35. “My dog’s ears bother him and smell bad. To help my dog dispose of harmful substances, I started massaging him. Then I came across your method and noticed, “Optimize acidity” and thought that this is what his problem is. After going through the whole list (after starting with the 2 steps as preparation) he became fit and eventually his eyes became clearer and his odor started to change. It became sourer and no longer so bad. Thus, there is improvement. That is, in and of itself, already special because I have tried everything. In fact, I took a course in animal communication but that didn’t help either. It eventually became clear to me that he needs to let go of some things. Something I couldn’t do for him, that’s why your MIR-Method was such a good solution.”

  36. “At the beginning of February, I started treating our cat, a 17-year old Burmese. I did it for three months, each time 2 times in a row.
The result was very noticeable. Romy had a number of bald spots in her fur, on the back of her paw, where she is stiff and has a lot of pain. She hardly ate and purred almost not at all. The vet had prescribed painkillers and sleeping pills. Half of a sleeping pill confused the cat so much (she walked around the house like a sleepwalker) that I immediately stopped using them. We’d had bad experiences in the past using medication on Romy. She reacts very strongly to it. After a week of treating her with the MIR-Method, her appetite increased, she became more animated, purred again and her fur grew back. We have the feeling again that she’ll be around for a while. You can still see where the bald spots in her fur were, but it’s not nearly as bad as it was.
I have the feeling that the treatment’s success peaked after about 2 months. It seemed as if there was slight regression after that, after which it stabilized. I am very happy about this and think it is a wonderful method to treat animals with.”

  37. “We had problems with our 7-year-old Scottish collie Kyra, who was a biter. She defends her herd (my son and daughter and myself) very fanatically. And to do that, she sometimes bites other people. This caused our neighbors to have some complaints. After doing the MIR-Method I’ve noticed that Kyra is milder. She has become less fanatical towards people who come to our house. And I don’t have to keep her on such a short lease in the presence of strangers. With Kyra, just as with the cat Romy, see above, the treatment’s success peaked after about 2 months, then there was a small downturn and now it’s stabilized.”

  38. My dog had trouble with his ears and they started to smell really bad. To help my dog detox harmful stuff I started giving him massages. Then I came across your method and I saw “Optimise acidity” and I thought “That’s the problem with him!” After I had completed the whole list (I first started with step 5 and 7 preparation for 2 weeks) he became fit and at last his eye-sight improved and particularly his scent started to change. It smelled more acidic and not so disgusting anymore. So there was change. That in itself was special, because I have tried all kinds of things. I did a course in animal communication, but that didn’t help either. Finally I realised he needed to let go of certain things. Something I couldn’t do for him. That’s why your MIR-Method was salvation to me. Thank you so much! Angelica T

  39. Did I tell you about my pony? I immediately started doing the MIR-Method. She had laminitis. One day later she got a fungal rash all over that is now gone again. Since yesterday, she’s walking a lot better!!
I’ll keep you informed, hearty greetings, Edith

  40. Wonderful what happened after I treated our castrated tomcat for 10 days in a row with the MIR-Method. After your training day, I started by only doing 3 times food addiction and then the 9 steps aloud two times a day while stroking the head and back all the way to the tail. We took him with us after a vacation in the French Alps as a little, very hungry and severely traumatized tomcat. Once he got used to us he would just continue to eat. When you gave him his food, he would eat it all up and continue asking for more. Now, after 10 days of the MIR, I fill his food dish. He now eats his fill and leaves the rest. Never shown this behavior before this!!!! I am very thankful for this normal behavior and that has made me very enthusiastic. I’m going to register for the 2nd training right away.

  41. Hallo Mireille,
An acquaintance of mine also passed the MIR-Method on to her colleagues and one of them has two dogs. She wanted to use the MIR-Method because of bald spots that one of them had, but ended up doing it with her other dog as well. That dog really enjoyed it but right after that, begun to throw up, about five times. The last time, a piece of plastic came out! She knew right away that this was because of the MIR-Method.

  42. The problem with our dog, Kyra, a 7 years old Scottish Colly, was that she was very often biting. She was defending her herd (this being my son and daughter and myself) very fanatically. She was always snapping at other people causing complaints from people in the neighbourhood. After carrying out the MIR-Method I have noticed that Kyra has become more gentle. She is less aggressive to people who visit us and I no longer have to tightly control her near strangers.

As with Romy my cat (see above) Kyra also had the best moment of the treatment after about 2 months. At that time she had a short setback after which it all stabilised.
